John Martin Magenau Jr. was its COO and President until 1978 when it was shut down. Jacobs began studying acting at the age of 8 and was enrolled in the acting class on Saturdays at the Pittsburgh Playhouse while growing up.She was a part of Pittsburgh Public Theater. Pittsburgh Public Theater where she was a perennial contender for the Public's Shakespeare Monologue Contest leading her to be cast in the role of Titania in the production of A Midsummer Night's Dream. Mt. Jacobs left Lebanon High School for New York City in the year 2000. She was a part of Group 33, the Drama Division of Group 33. Her bachelor's degree was awarded in the year 2004.
